LC-04: plan a smooth ceiling wash

LC-04 balances a broad curve with restrained stepped details. It can bridge traditional trim and contemporary furnishings without making the ceiling edge too busy. The profile remains visible during the day; concealed light adds depth after dark.

The curve frames the light

A smooth ceiling wash depends on more than the moulding shape. LED placement, output, corners and surface finishes all affect the result. Make a short mock-up with the intended strip and check for bright spots or shadows from the positions where people will sit and stand.

Use the flat-wall section to coordinate the moulding, separate backing and upward-facing LED. Confirm the ceiling gap and the lighting system’s mounting requirements before installation. The illustrations show a design intention; they do not guarantee identical light distribution in every room.
